Solidify self-assessment tool (checklist) - local communities (municipalities) with existing DCRs

Dear Sir / Madam,

This assessment is a part of pilot assessment of compliance with selected quality standards in the field of risk and harm reduction, focused especially on drug consumption rooms (DCRs) in European countries within the European project »Solidify« (https://efus.eu/en/topics/risks-forms-of-crime/substance-abuse/public/14380/), co-funded by the European Commission under the Justice Programme (Drug Policy Initiatives). The pilot assessment is coordinated by the Institute »Utrip« from Slovenia (www.institut-utrip.si). The purpose of the assessment is to examine the reality of compliance with selected quality standards regarding drug consumption rooms (DCRs) in local communities with existing DCRs and those communities, which want to install DCRs in the future. This assessment intends to help local communities (especially cities) to develop, sustain and improve DCRs and other services directly or indirectly related to DCRs. .

Due to your expertise and important role in the process of policy- and decision-making and implementation of risk and harm reduction interventions in your city, region and/or country we would be very grateful if you could fulfil the following assessment tool (checklist). Your expertise will help us to prepare useful guidelines and recommendations for key stakeholder and professionals (including you) in purpose to develop, sustain and improve quality risk and harm reduction services for people who use drugs in your country and wider. Results of this assessment will be incorporated in all key products of »Solidify« project including guidelines and recommendations. Results will be presented on most relevant conferences, promoted in media and published on the project website.

Please, fulfil the assessment tool by Monday, 20th May 2019.
